Biography
Margaret Reis has always been interested in drawing
and oil painting, but it has been during the last few years that her talent
has been sought after. Margaret is very shy about sharing her talents.
For a long time, she refused to sign her works of art. However, her
family and those who walk into her private gallery (her home) know that
experience is a great teacher. Margaret prefers painting scenes that
bring tranquility to the beholder. Using detail in every stroke, she
has come to appreciate how God pays attention to the details of His
creation. It is not unusual for her to take 1½ hours to paint a 1½ by
1½ inch square of canvas. Margaret has been known to refuse payment for
her work and requested a donation for a Christian charity instead.
Creating some new works for her debut at Heart of Focus has been an act
of obedience to God and she has found new enthusiasm as she awaits what
God will do through her.
